There are many factors that can contribute to fertility issues such as structural problems within the body, hormones, psychological barriers, and energy blocks. Yoga can aid in healing the body through a combination of pranayama (breathing techniques), meditation, and movement.
Fertility Yoga in particular, helps to increase the blood flow and circulation to the reproductive organs through a variety of movements and techniques. It is through these gentle mindful movements that we can relieve nerve compression, stretch the fascia and hydrate the body to move energy more freely through the fertile self.
Through restorative yoga, yoga Nidra, meditation practices, our aim is to provide balance to our nervous system. This will help with stress levels, balancing our hormones, and overall helping our endocrine system support us in our fertility and maintaining pregnancy.
